Nationwide delays

I tried to open a Nationwide account in mid-April. It still isn't open. I'm just getting letters apologising for the delay.
We hoped to have completed our investigation into the complaint by now and to be in the position to let you know the outcome. Regrettably, this isn’t the case and we’ve not been able to meet the timeframe given in our previous letter.
Although it’s taking longer than anticipated to respond to your concerns, we do believe we’ll be able to deliver a fair outcome to the complaint within 10 working days and we’d really appreciate it if you gave us this extra time
It is an ISA, but I'm posting here as it may not be an ISA-specific issue
Anyone else experiencing months of delay?

Was it the Loyalty ISA?
If so, it seems to be a case of "join the club".

Oh, thanks. I hadn't noted the other thread. And, yes, it is the "loyalty" one - ironic, or what.

I have the loyalty ISA - I arranged the transfer in very soon after the account became available and all was done and dusted within a couple of days.
Relative had more trouble (the ISA he wanted to transfer was not with one of the providers on Nationwide's transfer on line list) but managed it within a few weeks.0 -
My wife's was completed in 2 months; mine is coming up to 4 months. Ridiculous. Nationwide have promised that interest will paid as of the application date. Huh!
