Long time ago but when I was on BT if you changed part of the login name it would make the IP change.
I used to do it every day.
But it may have changed now.0 -

Why would you want to?
Tor can wrap your data packets in layers of encryption and route the connection through proxy servers so that you appear to be coming from a different IP address. See here for more details: http://www.torproject.org/0
