The best way is via social media, I have got responses via a facebook message before now where I was ignored on their own help pages.

Assuming it was fully insured the other way is to start a claim for loss - start here
    https://www.myhermes.co.uk/faqs/account/how-do-i-submit-a-claim-for-a-lost-or-damaged-parcel

One other question- did you buy direct from MyHermes or via a third party?

The reason I asked about where you purchased is that it makes a difference to how you claim. Your claim is with Parcel2go (who incidentally offer no insurance at all unless you pay extra) so you need to speak to them- not MyHermes. If you did opt for basic insurance through Parcel2Go you need to see what their claim procedure is.

However, re the tracking there is nothing to stop you keep trying MyHermes for an update, but from other threads on here they will almost certainly just turn round and say it is probably lost, and wipe their hands of it.

Not good news at all I'm afraid.
