Advice on removing traces of Ivy from my wall

    If you are worried about regrowth of Ivy from the stump do not use salt, you are likely to kill all the plants in the bed. Drill some holes into stump and get some offcuts of copper pipe (or copper coins) and hammer into holes you have drilled, this will stop regrowth and help breakdown the stump without affecting other plants in the bed.
