Is it possible to do the Kickstart Scheme whilst on LCWRA?

I've got an appointment at the job centre tomorrow about the Kickstart Scheme. I put in my journal about doing the Kickstart Scheme because I find it hard to obtain work.

Thank you.

I don't see why not. Although do be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming LCWRA then it could prompt an earlier review and the decision could go against you once it's made.

Yes it is built into the Kickstart scheme that those with a health condition can voluntarily take up a Kickstart vacancy.

Your LCWRA award has a set review period, decided when the award was originally made.  If you are working at the time of the next assessment, when you attend the assessment, it will look at your capability to work position at the time.  It will go through all of the information questions same as you went through before.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Can you tell me where you saw that the Kickstart scheme is also for people with health conditions please?

If you are capable of doing the job, you are eligible to be referred to it by your WC. (obviously if you meet the other criteria of course)

Some of the employers specifically encourage applications for people with barriers such as health conditions or prison leavers etc
