Saving options, help please

Hi guys,
I am expecting to complete on the sale of my house soon, where I will have £800K,
I would be grateful for any guidance, I am not looking for a long term investment, my priority to have access, and to earn a bit of interest.
I already have a cash isa account with Coventry, and current accounts with Santander and Barclays.
Any help would be much appreciated.

For 6 months you are covered in any account, for longer than that you are looking at NSandI (no limit) or splitting it in 85k portions across various institutions (check which share banking licences) if you want it all to be protected by FSCS.

If you want easy access you will be looking at ~0.5% but would need to open 10 accounts if saving in 85k chunks. NS and I direct saver offers 0.15%.

If you don't already have stick 50k in premium bonds, 100k if you have a partner.
