Morning all 
Sunny and the dog has been walked and 2 loads of washing out apparently the weather at the weekend will not be good . I am off to the supermarket later not sure wether to go to Sainsbugs or Tesc* . Tomorrow i am off to Cambridge as DS has an interview/ physical / medical there for a job in the prison service other than that i am just pootling along very boringly

Taff Italy sounds a lovely thought hold on tight to it and go for it one of my biggest regrets in life is not moving to New Zealand when we were offered the chance

Thanks for the thread nmlc and hugs to all those in need.

Having a bad start this morning, we went to the pub with our friends yesterday and met their family, We had a lovely time but it just made me miss my family even more. It's sunny today so we may move, it depends on Steve's mood when he finally gets up.

Weatherman says this will be the best day of the week so taking DGC to beach and meeting my bestie who retired here a few years ago

We picked up Ddad for a day out yesterday lovely to see him but I think DGC tired him out We also saw him for Sunday lunch on Sunday had a great afternoon with live music in the background 

Will catch up properly on everyone's news later in the week

Just popped in to say hello. I know it is ages since I posted but do read along every day,  I am in a lot of pain in my hip.  They think due to spread of cancer.  The plan is for scan and a possible one off blast of radiotherapy which may reduce the pain.  I certainly hope so because I can do very little and am really missing my garden. Best wishes to everyone.

Good morning, sunny and warm here again today.
Busy just pottering/watching Olympics/reading.  My siblings seem to have been doing well organising things in relation to mum's death and the funeral, nothing much more for me to do except taking stuff for them to check through to see who might want things or not and then disposing of surplus.

My lovely bunch are half siblings and we did not grow up together and I have never lived where mum did, or even in the same county so they have their fingers on all the pulses for everything that needs to be done, but as some are still working or very recently retired I have been able to do my bit over the last few years staying with mum after hospital stays, cutting short holidays etc. so I think it all works out in the end.

Yesterday's meal was Thai Green Pork Curry using the little pots from a Simply Cook Box, it was delish and I have enough for another meal to freeze, OH and I cannot take anything very spicy these days so I always reduce the quantities of the hotter things quite a lot.

Will read through today's posts properly over lunch, but pleased to skim past and see that some good things are happening for many.

Hello all, the sun is out again, 2nd day in a row despite the forecast of rain both days 😕

I'm having a quiet moment while Mr Fix It is teaching DGD how to do animation on his laptop then they're making a movie with her XOX friend dolls. So I'm watching the artistic swimming and posting on here while drinking coffee...... bliss. Multi-tasking pah, nailed it !! DGD is staying till sometime this afternoon as DD is taking DGS to his watersports session, thank goodness she's not staying longer or I'd have to do another shop 😱 Only joking she's great company and I'll miss her when she goes home.

I have put our sleeping bags on the line to air and filled the DW, it'll be lunchtime soon so more cooking for me, I'm wearing my fingers to the bone being chained to the cooker 😂
