What is the amount of % commission (approximately) do companies charge if they negotiate a successful Business Rates reduction with the local Council?

Whatever you negotiate based on the property type and RV.
Th appeal is made to VOA (central government) and not the Council.
A low value RV may mean a hefty upfront charge and a high percentage of the savings as any reduction is likely to be small.
A high value RV may be a lower upfront charge and a smaller percentage.1 -
Thank you for the reply, in a no win no fee example what would a company likely charge if say they managed to secure a 50% reduction in a Rates bill?daveyjp said:Whatever you negotiate based on the property type and RV.

Do your due diligence.
What evidence do you have that your rates valuation is incorrect?
What evidence do you have that this company successfully challenges valuations?

I've done all that and successfully negotiated a reduction. All I want to know is what sort of a fee a no win no fee company would charge if they had done this instead of myselfSavvy_Sue said:Do your due diligence.
