NCP Car Parks - Free parking for 1 day!

While on holiday in Scotland last week, I was looking for the best / cheapest parking option in Edinburgh and found a deal using NCP ParkPass. Download the NCP ParkPass App and your allocated a SaverID (an introductory 10% discount for the 1st month). However, when you sign up, you can also add the SaverID FREE2. This entitles you to a days free parking. Initially I was a bit doubtful as you have to register a debit/credit card first, so that you can autopay using a QR code generated in the App for the entrance and exit barrier, however it worked! Six hours parked at Edinburgh Castle Terrace (the nearest car park to the castle) discounted from £28 to FREE. Do a search for NCP car park discounts and download the App.
This offer ends on 31st August 2021, but other offers regularly appear too. Even if you're only likely to use it once like me, it's a no-brainer.
