Morning all

Had a really bad night not sure why but it took me ages to get off to sleep so late up this morning. Its a lovely sunny day and I have a wash on the go and another to go in I will hang them all on the line.

DW man came yesterday and joy of joys has fixed it  it was the heating element which he said was common in this area as we have such hard water, it was wonderful being able to put it on last night after dinner !

I took the dogs over the field yesterday and met the metal decector man who is often over there he was telling me he found a haul of coins from King John the first over there, he was going back to have another look as his decector pinged over something else but he did not have time to dig it up its all quite exciting.

I also met a woman and a dog, she was very lost had only moved to the area two weeks ago and was trying to get used to the area, I walked along with her for a mile or so and got her back to the road she lived on, she was very grateul and kept saying she would never have found her way home.

Ham egg and chips for dinner tonight so will do some potatoes this morning.

Csarina I bought some of those little stick on command hooks and put a small key ring on my bathroom window key, I stuck the command hook to the window frame and hung the key on it, we always know where is is now.

Camelot you can freeze Kale if you blanch it first xxx

Lovely day here. Went to Ald. for some shopping - not done a real shop for a while - been getting by with buying bits and pieces.
Mr F struck lucky in Asd. last night - 2 packs of 4 quarter pound burgers - for 10p each.

Hello everyone - I'm last again!

Well, I had just gone off to sleep last night when little one started shouting 'Granny there's a cat in my cot again' - and so there was! Smallest cat hides under the bed amongst boxes - we had looked before she went to bed but he must have had his eyes closed! Took me ages to get back to sleep then she was singing away at half 6 this morning! 
We went for coffee with my mam and dad this morning - she was good as gold in the cafe. Then her daddy picked her up about 11. I walked down the hill to a nearby cafe for a cuppa and cake with my friend - and spent a couple of hours sorting out the world!
Then a nice read in the sunshine - it has been really hot today...hope it lasts
