Google Drive newbie question

If I want to give full access of my Documents folder (Windows10) to a (trusted) relative do I simply install Google Backup and sync, goto the Google Drive section, enable Sync my drive to this computer and change the default Folder location from C:\Users\me\Google Drive to C:\Users\me\Documents ?
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.
