Really nice to have great feedback on how well it has gone.  Sometimes with problems like this people want to sell expensive 'solutions' when a more basic approach will get just as good results in the end.

You made the right choice and got a great result.

As for the sewer... at least they only moled through it, they hadn't poured tonnes of concrete into the hole as well. 

And there were no trains involved either....
