First time buyer mortgage - nationwide

Options
Hey everyone!
Going for my first ever mortgage with nationwide, I’m just wondering about anyone’s recent experience?
I’m after any advice on time scales, paperwork requested, how thorough and picky they seem to be so I can gauge the best chance of us being accepted as super new to this and nervous!
Thank you :)

Also we’re 95% LTV if that helps! Both full time employed, hardly any credit just a credit card but at the start of the may bank statement there are a few gambling transactions which are worrying me!

You can see broker application processing timelines here https://www.nationwide-intermediary.co.uk/placing-business/service-updates I imagine they'll be fairly similar for direct applications.

This is where google is your friend - there's a link below for all you need to know.

I'm a Nationwide customer - only a current account though - but I've been happy with them so far, five years and counting.

Try not to worry because don't forget, their main purpose is to make money from you if they can.

And also, did you know that you can get help with gambling through the NHS? If you only have a 'few' transactions though, I don't think that will make a lot of difference. If it does, they will let you know.

You have two chances! (Yes or no). Good luck.
