What are these marble like objects?

I came down this morning to find three or four glass balls (no bigger than a small marble) on my outdoor terrace. They are soft and squishy to touch.

Any idea of what they are?

They could be Superballs, a child's plaything.

    Do they bounce surprisingly high?
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

Water beads?  Maybe carried from elsewhere by birds?

They ring a very faint bell, I think that there used to be some bubble bath that looked exactly like that and you threw the little marble -like spheres into the bath and they dissolved colouring the water and making foam. I haven't seen them for sale for at least 40 years, do those ones dissolve in warm water?

If they're soft, then they absorb water and you can put them in vases of flowers as a point of interest, rather than just water.  You buy them in packets when they're tiny and they swell massively with water.

That's it, they look like frog spawn in all different colours. But they are tiny.

    3-5mm in diameter ?
Probably slug eggs if they are that small.

Could be those gel balls you get in some air fresheners. Someone's been throwing stuff in your garden!

Yes - they are about that size. I guess that's what they are
