Legoland is it worth it for 6 year old?

Hello! Hoping you can help. I'd like to take my son to Legoland later this summer, but I've heard that there isn't much there for younger children as its all rides and they have to be a certain age/height. Does anyone know if this is the case and whether there would be much there for a 6 year old?
The other question is do you need the reserve and ride tickets? Don't want to queue for ages but there's three levels of reserve and ride tickets making it confusing (and expensive). Hoping to use Tesco clubcard vouchers towards it all though!
Thanks!

Depends on the height of your six year old.
If they are over 1m, then they can go on everything except three rides. If they are over 0.9m (but under 1m) then there is seven rides they can't do.

But there is also a lot to look at, Miniland is fasicinating, but I'm not sure how much a six year old would want to look at London (and other cities) made from Lego. There is also a 4D show, some play areas and (may be closed due to Covid) plenty of Lego to build.
Many attractions don't have restrictions too and some like driving school there is two versions with different height restrictions.
Put their height in and see what they can ride Theme Park Rides at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
I don't have children so usually visited Legoland on a term time weekday as it is much quieter, but a lot of rides are low capacity and queues can build up easily.1 -
It is very expensive but worth every penny.1

We’ve been a few times now and loved it every time. My children were 5 and 2 when we first went so the 2 year old wasn’t at the 0.9m so slightly more restrictive.Last time we went on a Saturday in September 2019 and I think the longest we queued for was 45 mins for the ninjago ride. We’ve never paid for any of the que bots/systems.1

Definitely worth it but get adults go free coupon from Kellogg’s first.
He could love the Submarine and Ninjago Ride
If he’s not of a nervous nature try the Haunted House, the whole room tips upside down and you end up on the ceiling looking down at the floor.
Download the App so you can keep your eye on the queue times.1 -

it’s one discount or the other.
If you have an odd number of guests then could buy two using the two for one voucher and one separately with Clubcard though.1 -
Went just recently with a 6yo and while it's expensive, there is definitely plenty for that age group, as long as over 1m tall, which almost all 6yo will be.
A lot of the rides are fairly tame, to the point where I'm glad we went this year before our son becomes too thrill-seeking to enjoy them.0 -
I would say it is more a question of whether the adults want to go. There's a limit to how much some of us would want to suffer ...

It's fun for all ages. We adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids.0
