Amazon claiming i didn't return correct item - tracking shows they haven't even received the return!

Hermes are one of those companies, they sometimes even manage to lose things at the delivery address, their systems are that bad! Amazon returns go into mass batches which are then taken to a fulfilment centre and picked through over a course of days/weeks. The tracking supplied by Hermes will show that it was not delivered because it was never scanned as delivered, that does not mean that someone did not just chuck the box in the bulk consignment cage without scanning it.MAhmed1234 said:I now have heard back from Hermes...they have said to expect that the parcel has been lost...so no idea why amazon are claiming theyve recieved something. Very lost here. I dont want to lose my account.0 -
Update: upon doing research on these forums and on the net. I saw that people were emailing managingdirector@amazon.co.uk with their case.
I did that yesterday and got a reply back and will be refunded my money.

Was Hermes the only return option because in future never ever choose to return anything via Hermes, they are the worst.MAhmed1234 said:What shall i do in this case?
I always choose Royal Mail, they weigh the parcel and it is much safer option.1 -
No, the Post Office weigh the parcel. On behalf of RM.
The only time RM weigh and measure the parcel is when their Revenue Protection Unit think someone's pulling a fast one ....
It's likely Amazon do NOT weigh the incoming return items at point of acceptance anyway
