Wondering if people forget their entries rollover and if winning call is from a withheld number they think it is a scam call and either just not answer or let it ring past the 5 rings.
  • I think it's not about forgetting.  It's they don't know.  It's how the radio stations rig the "competition" so the "prize" is so high.

Etccarmageddon and pate, totally agree with you both. No doubt itv and these radio stations with those paid entries more than cover the cash prizes you can win. Anyway I am still happy they have the free online entries for most of the radio comps, but sadly not itv

There's lots of reasons..try ringing your own phone and see how many rings it takes to actually "ring"

I've got a cheap basic phone that'll ring straight away, my smarter phone takes 4 rings.

Is there any reason why they don't just pick another phone number and keep going until someone answers?  I have my phone with me from 5pm to 5.30pm just in case!!  A couple of weeks back the Planet Rock DJ said that they phone about 10 past 5.....

Because then they'd be giving away more money!
