Symbols next to windows on floor plan?

Hi all, I reserved on a new build recently and on the brochure floor plan there are “TT” like symbols next to the bathroom and hallway windows, does anyone know what this means? None of the other windows have this, the house is semi detached so I assume the final build won’t have windows on both sides, is this what they mean? I googled fairly extensively but wasn’t able to find anything, unless I’m being dim (which is possible)….

Could 'tt' be sword symbols? Is there a footnote? Those windows possibly need obscure glass.0

The bathroom is odds-on for obscuration. If we're talking about side elevations of a narrowly-detached house, the stairs will probably be similar.
If those are the sides rather than front-rear, it cannot be the right floorplan for a semi...0 -
It’s possible that they are trying to indicate that you will get one or the other of these windows but not both. Or like the previous poster said, obscured glazing. These windows are likely to be obscured as neighbouring houses of the same plan would look straight into each other otherwise.0

Maybe it means depending on what side the other house is on then that window won't be there?0

As touched upon previously, those symbols are probably a symbol to indicate that one of those windows will be present in the final design but not both of them, presumably depending on which side the house adjoins the neighbouring house.
They aren't standard symbols in the architectural industry and just relate as to how the developer has denoted them.
The window in the bathroom will have to be made from obscured glazing, but there's no requirement for the one in the stairway to be so unless it's a planning requirement.0 -
It would be much better if you have a window in the bathroom rather than one at the top of the stairs/landing.
Less chance of mould building up in the bathroom.
I have seen a number of Jack and Jill bathrooms and internal bathrooms with NO window which required silent extraction fans and led lights on motion sensors.
So can you check the site plans and work out which window will not be in your home.

There are also black arrows pointing at walls that must mean something. I assume you have already looked at the plans to see if there is a key explaining the symbols.Have you phoned the developer or site office to ask? It might be better than us playing a guessing game ...
