In terms of whether it is a good product. I have had a letter from them just generically suggesting a review alongside my Life Insurance.
I currently pay £26 a month fixed until age 65 for £3k a month to age 65 with a 6 month deferral.
My only concern would be if I need it beyond age 65, but I cant see any real point for it to be in place until age 70-75? I think at the time, 65 was the oldest I could be with fixed premiums etc. Also, from initial research, the premiums will practically double if I just extend it to age 70.

Why would you need it to 75? You intend to keep working until then?
The general idea is that you take it until your planned retirement age at which point your pension kicks in and replaces the income protection insurance1 -
True, thanks for that0
