Lost spell check on chromebook 14

Frustratingly, after going through a powerwash, I lost my spellchecker (Chromebook), now I'm trying Grammarly which will do for the moment, but prefer the old way, which showed a wriggly line under the error and a right click showed the correct spelling which would be inserted. Can't remember which it was though.
