Faulty Armchair DFS with finance

We purchased a G Plan armchair & sofa from DFS in March. The armchair to us is faulty, it dips to the right side on the seat and the back cushion is not filled with the right amount of filling. As they were giving 4 years interest free credit, we decided to take that option rather than use savings.
I emailed DFS a few times and finally a second rep from G Plan will be coming to look at it in a couple of weeks. The first said there is nothing wrong! There very clearly is.
My question is, is the finance company jointly liable?

Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
