I've had one. It was a pretty good camera for the price but I have always liked the Panasonic cameras anyway so I might be a little biased. A lot of people say that the menus on Panasonics are complex and this is probably true. I don't know if they are any more complex than other makes though as I don't have any experience of those. But in my view it is a pretty decent camera considering it's price and a reasonably inexpensive way of getting into using these sort of cameras, i.e. micro four-thirds with interchangeable lenses.

    Are you buying new camera?
    Panasonic selling their camera division.
It might worth going to other brand in long term?

I have the GX 85, which given the way Panasonic number their cameras could be the same model as the GX 80 in some markets

I assume you've checked out the You Tube reviews etc.

I find it easy to use, light & compact. Still getting to grips with it TBH and not used the video options, just still photos

It has so many options that I'm still trying them, post focusing and focus stacking for instance,

I think it's a great little camera which is good for both point & shoot fully auto or much more advanced if required

I also use it with older vintage lenses + adaptor and this helps keep costs down

You may want to look at used market, if not already doing so, MPB who are well regarded in used market have some
