Vinted App: Cannot Log in.

Hello All,  I am wondering if any other forum users have been having issues with the Vinted app for selling/ buying unwanted clothing?

I have been using this app, successfully, to declutter my wardrobe and make a little money.  Last week, however, the app kept crashing.  To solve this, I deleted the app and then reinstalled it (this has worked before).

The problem is: when I tried to log back into my account, I find I can’t.  I tap “I already have an account” then it takes me to “log in with Apple ID”.  This gets me to a “sign up” page.  I type in my username and email but the system says they are already taken (yes, by me - it’s my account).  I cannot see how to get past this page.

 I have sent several emails to Vinted customer service but everything they suggest has failed to get me into my account.  I have sent them numerous screenshots to show what is happening, at every stage of login, but they can’t find a solution so far.

 I tried logging into their website, instead of via the app, but I still have the same problem.  Vinted last suggested typing in my username in the email section - this has not worked either.  I am now waiting to hear from them.

 I sold an item of clothing last Sunday but can’t access my account to get the shipping label etc, so haven’t been able to send the item.  This is going to be bad for my seller reputation and a customer will be disappointed.

Also, there’s a small amount of money in my seller account that I can’t access.  I have explained all this to Vinted but they don’t seem to care.  They are just taking me round in circles with their suggestions.  They don’t seem to know how to fix their own app.

 I can’t just open another seller’s account, we can’t have more than one.  I can’t see how to close my own account.  I have asked Vinted if they will close my, so I can open a new one, but they don’t seem interested.  Their customer service just seems to be laughing at me and hoping I will give up, worn out from their silly suggestions.

Has anyone had a similar experience with this app?  (The TV ads are getting really annoying!). Would be grateful for any thoughts or reasonable comments.  Many thanks.

So if you go via the website and click the "Sign up/Log in" link do you get the following pop-up?

Do you normally log in via a separate email account or do you use a FB/Google or Apple ID log in?

Thanks for your reply.  I have been using my Apple ID to log in.  Several days ago, when I first contacted Vinted about the problem, they said I had chosen to hide my email when I registered via my Apple ID.  Vinted said they could change my email for an alternative.  I sent a message to agree this but got no reply.  It took twelve more emails to chase this issue.  They replied with several other suggestions, even though I kept asking them to change my email - but they ignored my request.  Then, another representative suggested, again, changing my email.  This I agreed to: I have now done this, and changed my password, and can now access my account!  The issue has taken far too long to resolve for such a simple fix.  Have had to send apologies to one buyer who didn’t get their order.

I am having exactly the same issue. It’s so frustrating as it keeps telling me that my username is already being used!!!
yes! By me! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Keep getting same automated messages which are no help at all. Meanwhile a potential buyer is asking me a question which I cannot reply to. 🤯
Any suggestions Vinted people?🤔

I'm having problems registering. I tried with Firefox, then when after several attempts failed. i tried with safari. Still no success.
I keep getting the same error message; Incorrect user name or password.
I've been going round in circles.
can anyone give me an email contact for Vinted support?

I am only trying to buy a couple of things, so Vinted sellers must be losing out if it's this difficult.
