BG Feed in Tariff

I am grateful to previous contributors on this forum for their helpful solutions of problems with BG Feed in Tariff. Now having changed everyone's ID without warning  and not reminding people when their reading is due can I warn FIT customers  NOT to trust BG digital online submission site.
On 11th July I filled in the online form and was  given the usual BG  approval " you are all set" . Concerned about  abnormal delay in payment I rang the number given by previous contributors to this forum and a kind gentleman told me that they had not in fact received my meter reading. He did a great job in putting matters right. However, by only promising payment within a further 28 days is this not the same as justice delayed and therefore not served?
Things were much better when the FIT team were based in Trafford Park Manchester!
