Hi guys
I am seeking some advice, and reassurance I suppose.
I have just been sat working at my dining table on my laptop. I have a Galaxy tab A next to the laptop. Me and the wife often have the tablet at the dining table as we like to watch Richard Osmonds house of games together on BBC iPlayer. However, usually when it finishes we pause and leave it for the next day. It's often plugged in and charging. However, today, while it was plugged in the plug wasn't on and it wasn't charging.
I was doing some video editing in Cyberlink on my laptop, when suddeny out of nowhere I heard the introduction music for the House of Games. I got spooked out and wondered if it was an advert that had started playing on my laptop. I established it was coming from the tablet, but the screen was totally black. I opened the screen and saw that the show was in fact playing on the iplayer app, with no input from me. I paused it and obviously was a bit spooked.
I did a "security check" on the tablet with the built in scanner and it found no threats.
It then gets a bit weirder, I swiped down to view what tablet options were enabled, such as bluetooth etc and it appeared to swipe across to the right by itself, and "deselect" the "Daily board" seemingly by itself.
I am a tad concerned really, it could be some sort of glitch, but you start worrying about it being hacked and so forth.
We don't use many apps on it really, just the TV players, and a colouring app my wife uses for mindfulness.
I am hoping there is some sort of reasonable explanation as it's made me a bit paranoid if I honest
Thanks

That does sound very weird indeed. I would look at getting another antivirus app installed and scan the device. If that does not bring anything up, I would maybe look at changing the WiFi password and factory resetting the tablet. See if that helps.

I'm still a bit spooked by this, a malware scanner that was built in didn't show anything? It just seems so weird. I know you hear things about apps being hacked, people being able to view your camera and so forth.Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0
