Parcel consolidation from Italy

I'm thinking of ordering some equipment from Italy (some via ebay, others not). These are fairly large boxes (say 1.5m x 1m x 0.4m, weight 30-40kg), and the suppliers only ship to Italian addresses.
What I'd like is a freight consolidator, so I can get the goods delivered to their Italian warehouse. The consolidator would then ship them all together (eg on a pallet) to the UK, clearing the goods through customs, and deliver on to a UK mainland address.
I've seen that sort of outfit for shipping from the US and from China, but not Italy. Anyone recommend any service like this, and what it might cost?
(Regular DHL shipping quotes £300 for one box, which is a bit much)
