Hello,

I'm trying to work out the rules around testing / quarantine for a trip we want to make in early September. We are both British, and reside in England. We're also getting our second jabs this weekend. We have a credit for a ferry trip to Ireland from Wales, and our destination on the other end is Northern Ireland.

Looking at the following websites:
My interpretation is:
  • Need to complete the passenger locator form before getting the ferry over from Wales to Dublin
  • No need for quarantine
  • No need for tests
My questions are:
  • How do we prove we're double jabbed?
  • Have I completely misinterpreted the rules and actually we do need to quarantine / test? If so, we probably won't make the trip. It's not the end of the world - we just have a cancelled trip from last year we're keen to use for a change of scenery!
Thank you so much for your help, and hopefully this thread will be useful for anyone else who, in hindsight, should have booked a ferry straight to NI.
