As QrizB says it's the annual cost that's important - the increase in standing charge will cost you 8.74p x 365 = £31.90 whereas the increase of over 0.9p/kwh will make much more of a difference. You need to do the overall sum

As stated above the unit rate is lower as well as the standing charge...

Octopus Tracker might be worth looking into Mick.
Sounds a bit like Agile where unit prices change daily. Lowest SC I can see for gas at 15p but the unit price could be a deal breaker ??

Just heard on the news that the price cap on gas and leccy is going up by 12%. 

Not great although it does help with the financial case for battery storage.

Wonder if that is a duel fuel deal they didn't offer me this, clearly I don't want to move from "Go Faster"
This is my proposed deal... Im guessing VAT @5%?

Might be worth dropping them an email.
They usually allow you have your leccy on one deal and gas on another.

Our current gas deal runs out in February so I had a shufti myself.
This is Avro's best price .....
