Council PCN while parking outside own house outside prescribed hours

Hi
i would appreciate if you can advise me if it’s worth challenging the PCN or not 

our home is on a restricted public street with restrictions to park on single yellow line for couple of hours during the day.

we are having major home renovation so delivery vans,skip trucks are constantly coming in n out of our driveway.

 Usually I an watchful that I move the car during restricted hours but today I forgot and as a result have received a council PCN.

Im feeling so frustrated that i got a ticket right outside my own house.

do you think that i can challenge it and what reason should i make the basis for the appeal.

will really appreciate any help
