Problems with HSBC credit card

Thanks Farfetch. Just received automated email from HSBC ......"We haven't forgotten about you. We're working hard to clear our backlog of complaints and should be in a position to contact you soon." What sort of business generates a backlog of complaints and then uses it as an excuse for delays! Perhaps MSE should add a warning to its disclaimer before linking to HSBC?0

When I applied for this card back in May, there was a promise that there would be a £25 credit to the account if I made a balance transfer within the first 60 days. I met that condition and my 60 days is up - but no credit!
I would not have applied for the card had I known that the charge for the transfer was not be covered by the cash-back.
If I have to pursue it, I shall need some form of evidence, but it is just my written record of the T&Cs.
It was highlighted in the April/May weekly emails; I've been through them but there is no reference to the cash-back, though that would certainly have been the only enticement for me.
Can anyone throw light on the matter? Anybody who qualified and has received the cash-back?0 -
I'd suggest starting with the old MSE newsletters as a start, if they mention this offer for example as that would be documented that it existedschiff said:When I applied for this card back in May, there was a promise that there would be a £25 credit to the account if I made a balance transfer within the first 60 days. The Ts & Cs below say if you opened the card by 15/6/21 and do a transfer of at least £100 within 60 days of the date the card was opened you qualify. That said though, you would have had to have applied via MSE or MSM not on the HSBC site and you cannot have or had a card from them within the last 12 months to qualifyschiff said:
