Faulty Sofa from DFS

I purchased a sofa from DFS in October 2020. It took until April 2021 before it was delivered after many excuses. When it arrived it was faulty as the recliner mechanism was broken. A service manager came to look and ordered a new mechanism. It’s now July and they are saying they are still having trouble getting one from the manufacturer. Any ideas what my rights are and where I can go from here as I have no faith in DFS. I would really like my money back but don’t want to be left with no furniture especially with it taking so long to get new furniture these days. They have sold me inferior furniture and keep fobbing me off. Thanks

They're unlikely to provide a refund and allow you to keep the sofa, so you have a choice: reject the sofa for a refund and try and find some temporary furniture to tide you over, or wait.1

As above, your choice, either get a refund or keep the sofa and wait for a repair. You can't have both.
