Rejected claim

Options
I had a packaged account with charges for many years but didn't ever make any claims on any of the parts of the package. Over the years we have bought 3 plots and built houses to live in then sell, and so we had an 8k overdraft which we used in these instances to pay solicitors fees, rent deposits and associated costs that were repaid on completion of the sales. I dropped into the bank years back to get the packaged account part removed from the account as the costs were high but was told in passing that if we did that we would lose our overdraft. The branch was Lloyds then became TSB. My claim was rejected by Lloyds as the person who misled me not surprisingly made no official note of what he had told me, which I believe was untrue. Basically as it is my word against theirs is there anything further I can do?

You can go to FOS within 6 months of rejection, if you feel you have a case. However, with an absence of evidence, it's unlikely the outcome will change.
