As you have found you will struggle to find a standard hotel room to sleep five.
Look for family suites or consider booking an two bedroom apartment.1 -
We’re a family of 5 and when our DD’s were young enough to come on holiday with us, we booked self catering apartments or villas (Spain, Portugal & other overseas places). Yes, you have to self cater but we just did breakfast in our accomodation with the occasional lunch by the pool and ate dinner out.
We did book a two bedroom suite in a hotel in Nerja, Spain one year but it was easy as we have 3 DD’s.
Perhaps aparthotels would work for you as another option?1
