BARCLAYS - Online PIN Sentry device........

Is anyone still having trouble with their new Barclays PIN Sentry high tech encoding device?

If so, is the main fault that it generates a random number that the Barclays online Coventry site refuses to reconize?

No. It's been working fine since I got it on Saturday and actually makes logging in quicker and easier than before (only two screens to pass)

Have you be able to login at all or only some of the time then?

Yep mine is working great am very please with the set up.

Had mine last week, used it for the first time and had no problems logging on. Anything that helps with security is fine by me.

Just a quick point, I did initially miss putting my last 4 card digits in the box and went straight to the generated code and it wouldnt accept but then noticed the other box and it went through fine.

Apart from the hassle of having to go and get the card out of my wallet to use it, I quite like it. Have been driving myself crazy trying towork out how the system knows it's a number randomised by the device and not by me though!

I totally hate the thing. The convenience of online banking was always that you could access statements from anywhere.
Now you have to carry around a card reader if you want to do that. Not convenient whatsoever. I need about 5 of the things to leave at work and various other places I regularly am when I need to check my balance.
