Wayleave calculation

Bear with me guys, first post! Whilst doing some work in garden, a rather meaty looking electric cable was exposed only approx 6 inches under the soil. I've had sp energy over, buried it properly, and trashed my patio and garden in process. They agreed to put the damage right, but only if I sign a wayleave agreement. They've offered £54, to cover a 20yr agreement, +4 year backpay. No mention of anything to cover the disturbance, exposure, or anything anything that might crop up in future. Kinda get the feeling he's not being totally straight with me, and they're not overly happy about repairing the damage caused. Is there a crude way of getting some calculation worked out?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sounds similar to the amount I was offered and I refused.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

My parents used to get a shilling a year (metricated to 5p) for a meaty cable under their garden. However their neighbour got a nasty shock when doing some landscaping, turned out the cable was never in my parents' garden after all!0

Well you are not going to be paid for something that might happen in the future, and you haven’t been exposed to anything so you can take those two things out of the equation.0
