3 Night Stay - Amber Country - Testing?

I believe the test company who they are using are one of the ones who just require a picture of the test next to the passport, so they will take the test and have the certificate or whatever it is come back before they leave to return to England on the Monday.Ben1989 said:No it won't be invalid. The test requirement for flying back to the UK don't know where it was taken, they just care about date. I can understand them seeing the confusion.
They can take the test before their flight to Majorca but are there providers which can provide that so early in the morning?
But yes. They need to concentrate on time rather than location for the tests. As has been said, they can take it in the UK.
I think they will be taking their test to fly out later next week, so they have the proof of a negative test to fly out, it was just the return test that caused a little confusion really.
Thank you for your help.July Total - £9,120.950 -
Are you saying that people can take a " Fit to fly /Return home " before they leave the UK, go to Spain for 3 days and return to the UK ? what happens if they contact others who have covid in Spain ? they could infect the whole plane ,I know that the normal return to the UK test is taken UP TO three days before they leave but if people have had a couple of weeks in the sun and test negative great BUT to test before even entering Spain seems ludicrous .Ben1989 said:No it won't be invalid. In fairness, if someone needs to do a single day business trip, this policy makes sense. There are still many things that can't be done virtually for legal reasons.Ganga said:

For a 3 night stay, this is a little more risky, however can be done on the day of the outbound flight in addition to any testing the destination country requires.💙💛 💔1 -
What happens if somebody goes abroad for 10 days, takes the fit to fly test on day 7 and then contact others who have covid in Spain between then and the flight? They could infect the whole plane. It's not ludicrous, at all. Why does it matter where you take the test? You have had a test up to three days before you fly home. Doesn't matter where you are. If anything it's safer as you're ensuring your negative on your outbound also.Ganga said:
