in Credit cards
First time poster, I have watched Martin for years and listened to his advice so just wanted to say a quick Thank You.
I was £26,000 in debt with credit cards and overdraft 5 years ago, I’d say my wage is slightly above average but debt can just get you, I followed a few simple steps of Martin’s advice.
I looked at what I was spending and where and what I could cut down on.
Rang all my utilities to see what I could save.

Took a loan at my bank to pay £5000 overdraft off (far cheaper in the long run).
Any extra cash was paid to lower my £21,000 credit card debt.
Finally put my PPI claim in a few weeks before the deadline not expecting much, to my surprise I got £7746 back due to overdraft! Never expected that.
I’m now in a financially stable position, it took 5 years to get to this point but well worth the battle.

Martin’s advice has had a total flip side for me, I’m now as of yesterday after paying my last credit card bill, DEBT FREE and have managed to save £25,000 in the process.
I’m not here to rub people up the wrong way, just to thank Martin and his team’s advice that I’ve seen on telly, the little changes make a big difference.
Thank you Martin and team.
Love from debt free Dave.

You might need to be aware that Martin won’t see this post, he sold MSE for £87 million back in 2012.dave9670 said:First time poster, I have watched Martin for years and listened to his advice so just wanted to say a quick Thank You.
