Questions re: Sale of House

Hi all,

Selling our house which has solar panels, leased roof space. The panels were installed back in 2012, we bought the house in 2018.

We've has a few questions from our buyers solicitors, most of which we can answer apart from:

1. Please provide Part P self-certified certificate (e.g. NICEIC) in relation to the electrical installation.

2. Please provide details of the installers insurance.

3.
Please provide Building Regulations Consent and Completion Certificate for the installation of the solar panels at the property.

We were left a pile of documents from the previous owners but nothing related to the questions above. Any ideas on how I can obtain  these details or if its a case of replying back that we don't have this information?

Thanks

The latter. Your solicitor spins it as best they can.

When you bought the property in 2018 did your solicitor request this information? It seems like the standard information required. Do you have any paperwork from your original sale? Or can you contact the company to see if they have records.

Otherwise you can just say you don’t have any such documentation and the buyer can decide how they want to proceed.

just say you can't find it / haven't got it and let the solicitors sort it out.

I don't recall any of these questions coming up! I guess all I can do is call the company and see if they have record of it and if not, notify my solicitor that we don't have it. Hopefully it won't hinder the sale.
