Electric meter database
Does anyone know if it's possible to access historical electric meter readings from the national database yourself?
There was an issue when the electric meters were wired up in my previous property, and myself and a neighbour ended up paying each other electric bill.
I'd raised this with Tonik Energy and they were in the process of swapping my readings over when they went into administration. This meant my final bill was calculated using two different meters.
The only point of contact now is a debt collector chasing payment.

Hi,can you ask your neighbour what record he has of 'your' meter readings, and compare to what you have of 'his'.0

I had a different neighbour when my contract with Tonik would of started, so I have no way of finding that out. It was only during the end of my contract that a new neighbour moved in and the problem was discovered. I also need proof that the meters got swapped over on the database[Deleted User] said:Hi,can you ask your neighbour what record he has of 'your' meter readings, and compare to what you have of 'his'.1 -
Meter readings aren't stored on the national database. Only the address and meter details.0

Contact your DNO; provide them with your MPAN and address and they should be able to confirm the serial number of the electricity meter linked to your address and MPAN.
