Estate Agents holding out on accepting offer to do more viewings

    Vendors have day jobs too. Not everyone is sitting around all day waiting for their phone to ring. There's real work to be done.

    Either accept what’s happening or ring the EA and tell them if the offer isn’t accepted within 24 hours and the property taken off the market you’ll be rescinding your offer. Your choice.

    Personally I wouldn’t even consider buying it even for a significant discount, house conversions are generally awful but it’s your money.

    I appreciate that.  But for one house we offered on it was four days and the vendor was an elderly person who was shielding.  Not difficult to get hold of.  I just like honesty.
