Missing Deposit

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place for it but I have recently moved out of rented accommodation. I requested my deposit back and they sent me the check out inventory and then last Thursday they asked me for my bank details to release the funds.

I gave my details the same day (I have double checked these were correct) and on Monday had not received anything so I sent an email to the deposit coordinator asking what payment method they used so I could have an expectation of timescales. Around 4:30pm I got an email back saying the funds had been released today (monday).

Today I had still not received anything and was told over the phone that they use a standard online payment (which to me sounds like a faster payment) and to maybe wait until the end of the day.

the thing is if it was a faster payment I should have received it yesterday and no one seems very keen to look into it.

Any advice on what to do next?

A BACS payment can take 3 working days to process. Therefore if sent Monday, should clear tonight and show in your account later this evening or in the morning.

Unlikely to be sent via CHAPS, unlikely to be FPS (but maybe).
