Halifax Clarity Ts & Cs

in Credit cards
Hi, I've received an updated Terms and Conditions from Halifax re my Clarity Card.
I only use this card for when I go abroad, and these changes are confusing me. Would I now be charged a fee when I use my card to buy something abroad? It def looks like I'd be charged if I withdrew cash, but I'm a bit uncertain about purchases abroad.
I'm probably just being stupid, but if they are going to charge then there is no point in me keeping it.
Thanks in advance

Which part makes you think you'll be charged for withdrawing cash abroad?
There's nothing in the terms I received that say that. Also nothing about fees for purchases.1 -
Section B5 states there is a "non-sterling transaction fee". This applies to purchases and cash transactions. It also states, "!This could be a purchase on your credit card while abroad or an international purchase online from the UK". But A5 says, "Non-sterling transaction fee (any non-sterling transaction, including cash withdrawals - N/A)"
I'm hoping that it's A5 that would apply then, meaning no charges still? And you'd think that, if they were changing this, they'd have put it in the first few pages.
I can't remember where I saw the bit about cash withdrawals!0 -
The core terms are standard across all the cards. It's the table in A5 which tells you what the fees are for your particular card.
A major change like that would also need to be called out in the letter. There are no forex fees on Clarity.1 -
Thank you 😊0
