if somebody is deemed to lack capacity with their money by a pycholagist and lives in supported housing with other people with intellectual disabilities would that stop them from being famous from apairing on the new series of Benefits Britain  I’m on PIP and want to show that everyone isn’t as bad as the people on there previously.

They might need to get some support to help them decide if appearing on TV is a good idea or not. How would they feel if the program makers make them look bad on TV?
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

If people are paid for appearing on the series, it could affect their entitlement to benefits, so that would need to be checked before agreeing to anything.
Being on a reality TV series doesn't make a person famous, it makes them more visible and therefore more likely to be subject to abuse.  Be careful what you wish for.

That's not something the participants can control.
The programme will be put together to suit the target audience.
Hours and hours of filming are done and, by selecting certain bits, the programme makers can make the participants look good or bad, depending on the story they are telling.
