No documentation received after house purchase

Hi everyone,
It has now been around three months since we purchased our house and we still have not received any documentation (title deeds etc) with our name on it. There is no evidence I can find online that the property was sold (I know that it sometimes takes a while to update) but there’s no new information whatsoever? We have asked our solicitor and she has ignored us multiple times.
Vendor has told us that he left the paperwork he had with his solicitor. We still haven’t received any of these documents for the house.

I’m worried it has not even gone through land registry yet.

I have bought a couple of properties over the last 18 months, I think it may have taken a bit over 3 months for both to change on the land registry.
Why don't you register for the LR property alert service and you will be sent an e-mail when anything changes in the registration1 -
I completed in March but only got my docs a few weeks ago. I wouldn't worry.... yet.Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool.0

Same for us, completed in February but only received the deed information a few weeks ago.

The only way to quicken the process is if you have a reason to expedite with land registry.0 -
We completed last August, we only got our documents from the solicitor a couple of months ago. There is a massive backlog at the land registry, they can expedite it if you’re wanting to sell the property but otherwise it’s just a case of sitting tight and waiting.0

Wait times can and do vary but the key is always ‘priority’, namely protecting your purchase. That starts with an official search prior to completion. And then lodgement of the actual application to register.Timescales for lodgement after completion have been stretched for some conveyancers as they have focussed on getting buyers over the finish line to make the most of the SDLT holiday(s). So it’s always worth checking with them to confirm it’s been lodged.
After that timescales re wait times can be 2/3 months for an update to an already registered title. Or several months if a new title is being created eg new build/new lease. The timescale can be stretched further if the application is not in good order also but 3 months isn’t a timescale I’d be too concerned by.If you have the specifics then DM them to me and I can check and hopefully put your mind at rest.“Official Company Representative

We completed mid September 2020 and our purchase is still not showing on the Land Registry website. We have all the documents from the solicitor as proof, just wondering why it would be taking so long. Would it be Worth us getting in touch with the solicitor who dealt with it?0

We completed November 2020 but only got the papers last May. That’s 6 months waiting time. Ours is a new build.0
