It isn't the point I was questioning; it was the manner in which it was put.

Anna is a very new poster, you could have taken this into account and just been a little more polite rather than shouting. I have done more than my fair share of telling posters that they are posting in the wrong place or that they have posted an offer that has already been posted but I have never felt the need to SHOUT at them, thats just rude and intimidating

Yes but there's ways of telling them, aren't there.

And in fact, as the OP was querying something that happened only when visiting a "freebie" site, it might well be seen to be in the correct place, as someone else who visited the same site might have experienced the same thing. A gentle nudge, as one or two other posters managed without any aggression in the tone of their posts, towards the correct, most relevant forum, would have been a nicer way to put your point across.
