Day 2 Tests from Amber list countries (fully vaccinated)

If I am planning to fly and order a Day 2 Test before departing, when are the test kits delivered?  If they are delivered before you return home (ie whilst you are still out of the country), do they not require a signature?  Am I missing something here?

There are some wild variations in prices (£28 to £100+).  Are there any that should absolutely be avoided?  Expert Medicals is advertising at £28

Went with Randox at £43 each, delivered to daughters house

It will vary by provider but most appear to deliver on day 1 (the day of your landing in the UK being day 0)

I know you've got them now but we ordered from Randox and they took almost a week to arrive.

Day 2 info (code from box) needs putting on your PLF to return to the UK doesn't it? So, you'd need that info before you set off.

It's a booking reference which needs inputting which is sent via email confirming your order. You then put that booking reference in when registering your test so it's all connected so no worries about having it before travelling.
