Hi all,
I gather in the UK no one offers joint credit cards. As such, looking for a credit card that allows an authorised user access to online banking for the credit card. Currently with Natwest and have my wife as an authorised user, but she can't login/see the credit card on her online banking which is a little frustrating. Any advice would be great! TIA

In reality additional cardholders are rarely a good idea, the best solution would be individual credit cards.1 -
Amex allows limited online access for the additional user.0

Assuming you trust your wife (!), can you not just let her use your online banking logon?

I should think they would take a dim view of someone even if it is your wife or partner using login details that aren't their own.You should try getting a card with Amex as they allow additional card holders to register their card and see transactions they have made with their card, the main account holder gets to see all transactions made with any additional card on the account.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0

I don't know why AmEx are the only ones that realise a secondary cardholder could want to be able to see what they've spent etc without having to go ask the primary cardholder.0 -
My other half refuses to deal with finances - even with their own credit card of which I am also an authorised user. I am allowed to deal with the card on behalf of my OH and have had this authorised by the card provider. Not quite what you're after but shows that there is some leeway.
Previously MBNA had acknowledged that our separate cards were linked as we were both authorised users on the others' so I could log in once to see both cards. This changed a couple of years back and now each card has a separate long on but as stated MBNA knows it's me still looking at both.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards.
