Can Ceder Wood Blocks or a Plug in UV Insect Zapper Kill Moths?

I've checked on-line and many reviews are very mixed. Trying to get something effective and quick, like yesterday, locally. Have drawn a blank so far. Thanks.

Hello, anyone? Munchi moths still munching0

What about ‘Moth Balls’ you can put them in your wardrobes or anywhere else that the Moths are Munching1

Apparently some small moths are attracted to UV and some not, hence the mixed reviews I suppose1

Moth balls can be effective. They don't kill the moths, but drive them away. Don't overdo it with the moth balls. I had to wash a pile of clothes because they stank of moth balls, to the point where I couldn't wear them.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
I got cedar balls from a cheap diy shop. They do fine.
I've used dried lavender the most successfully even putting it under a wool carpet
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

We cleared a clothes moth infestation with Trichogramma evanescens.

If you have active moths, all cedar blocks will do is deter them in the first place. To get rid of them you are literally going to have to steam and scrub everything- all the furniture will need to be pulled out, hoovered under, and all soft furnishings washed. Its not the moths that do the damage but the larvae, and they are not easy to kill. The moths like feeding off natural fabics, leather, wool, silk, fur (including pet fur).It took me weeks to get rid of of our infestation. In the end I had to use products from this company https://www.pestcontroldirect.co.uk/how-to-control-clothes-moths/
I took the carpets up and dusted powder down underneath them, and then used the spray upon areas such as under the skirting boards.2 -
Lol no. Though that may help. Don't think it actually has any lavender in it.
You can buy it loose and little bags for 10p. Put a bowl of it in wardrobes, bags hung on hangers etc.
Just check the quantity if you order online. Can come in vast bags.
And you need English Lavender.
I like posh wool sweaters and used to store with lavender successfully. The scent had gone by the end of summer so no issue with smelling like a hippy.
Don't know if lavender oil on something would work.bit strong but it should blast them as a start. Again, get the real deal.
Wormwood works but smells disgusting.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
