Moring all. Quite balmy today which is nice. I'm ok with a little bit of heat but not with stupid heat. Managed to get to the thing on Saturday, spoke to the bloke and organised a meeting about heating [yes I rhymed that on purpose] , went round to friends house for tea and chat, cut out new ends and drilled holes into them for my sisters pulley and did a bit of experimenting with the woodburning tool I bought about two years ago from Lidl. She's got something on them now, if she doesn't like it, well... one, tough boobies and two, I ain't making her no more ends...As you can guess I'll be going to Wales for the week [get ready for frantic waving nanny] this time though, with the intent of emptying the house. Really emptying it, not just faffing around with a bit here and a bit there. Going to take some stuff with me so I can take things apart for the tip. And I'm going to need some recycle bags for bits and pieces. Luckily, they pretty much recycle everything in the tips in Wales, even things you might not think so getting rid of a lot of it will be quite easy. It's all the little faffy bits you're always left with that are the worst thing. And seeing as I was the one who was living in the house, they're mostly my faffy bits...not in the shed though...my fathers faffy bits reside there...So I doubt I'll be posting for a week or thereabouts, back to the tablet...I'm sorry so many of you are having a rough old time of it at the moment, I hope things improve for you and your loved ones...Apart from the ones having a fantastic time of course, you just keep doing what youre doing spreading the loveNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi10

Morning all, so much news on here today ! Sorry should be a afternoon not morning. We had a lovely weekend with DGS and lots of food has disappeared, I don't know where he puts it all, if he's not talking he's eating 😮 I'm not putting the extra bed away until DGD has had her sleepover. She used to sleep in the big bed with me but the last time she wanted to go camping in the bedroom, so that's the plan again and luckily we have sleeping bags a-plenty as we use them in the van, I find them much better than quilts. I have put the weekend sleeping bags to air on the whirly this morning. We have been out and about giving the car a good run, we didn't go anywhere last week so it really needed it's cogs turning. We called in at the van to check inside and out...... all good, but the water moisture trap needed emptying and the tablet thing replacing, so that's been done. This afternoon I shall potter in the garden as the sun is out again, but the forecast is for thunder showers too so I shall just do a bit of weeding/pruning.The soil is still wet so no watering my plants again today. We are now back on our diets as our portion sizes have been creeping up and we've been snacking, that must stop today. I'm not replenishing the biscuit/ cake tin till DGD is due, that's just too much temptation of an evening.Hugs to all in need todayDumpling fingers crossed for your DSis and I hope your DM will be ok after her fall.Scarlett that must have been really scary for you. I hope the anti b's do the trick.Gers enjoy the hotel stay, you thoroughly deserve it after all that you have achieved.taff I'll put the kettle on in case you decide to break your journey. 🤐 Don't tell my DGS but I have some cake left if you would like some..... he missed that and he doesn't miss much !Camelot there were 3 in a family that died in Wales however one child survived but the prognosis isn't very good, so sad.Csarina love the greenhouse. What are you going to grow in there ?dp1 happy birthday to your DD. Bet you had your heart in your mouth with little one on the play park.Take care all, stay safenan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11
