Morning, hugs if you need one.
Dumpling, so pleased that you have heard from your sister and she is doing better. Gers - it will feel strange locking the door for the last time. I hope your buyer enjoys the flat as much as your Mum did. Both you and her Saturday crossword friend will miss her so much.
Late up this morning, I slept in for a change, so we are just up having had the usual Sunday breakfast in bed. The bed tray I have had for years finally collapsed yesterday, It has been in regular use for a long number of years. To my delight the company that made it is still going so I have ordered a new one.
Still no runners for the greenhouse. My neighbour ordered a set from Amazon, they came yesterday so we should be able to get the door on this week. Yesterday we moved the table in and some pots under it. I just have to put the shelves in and its will be ready to go.
We are off this morning to a local garden that is open. We went 3 years ago, so it will be good to see how it has changed in that time.
I need to get the books out and see when some of my shrubs should be cut back, a couple of them have grown big in the 6 years we have been here. We still have plants to go in so cutting back will give us a bit more space. Since I cut down on my quilting activity I have spent quite a bit more on the garden. after 6 years it is almost as I want it yo be.
Supper tonight is gammon, roast potatoes and courgette, peas and parsley sauce. We are still eating raspberries......we will look like one soon.8 -
Hi everyone,
I lost most of yesterday to a migraine, luckily Steve has been feeling a lot better so he took on the meal making etc. I'm still feeling a bit spacey but thankfully the pain has gone.
We popped over to Chris and Crystal's to pick up their cat for the week while they are away. We had planned to meet them en-route but they didn't have room for all their camping stuff and Tibs with her accoutrements. I hope they have a lovely week, the forecast is ok and they do a lot of walking so don't want it too hot.
Not a lot happening here otherwise so I'll go with best wishes to all the poorlies and their carers.10 -
